To invest in a better future for our communities, RTOERO offers an annual scholarship program and awards scholarships valued at $3,000 each to 20 post-secondary students. The scholarships will help the students to pursue goals that support well-being, and the health of our people and places.

One student nominated by District 24 has received an RTOERO scholarships in 2022:

Geneva Mariottie is a student in the bachelor of science program in psychology at York University. In her program, Geneva is specializing in neuropsychology and aging, with the goal of becoming a researcher. She plans to pursue a Masters and PhD in the field of behavioural neuroscience and psychology and wants to grow the understanding of healthy and unhealthy aging.
